The following guidelines should be followed by anyone wishing to climb at the wall. Details of costs can be found on the Fees page.
- For individuals who want to climb, the SICW will be open on Wednesday evenings 6-10pm
- Bookings can be made by groups / organisations during the following times:
1. Weekends 10am-6pm
2. Weekdays (except Wednesday) 6-10pm - The following rates apply to hire the whole wall:
1. Groups with own instructors and equipment £35 per hour
2. Groups with own instructors using SICW equipment £45 per hour
3. Groups using SICW instructors and equipment £60 per hour - Bookings must be made in units of 1 hour.
- Block bookings over a number of weeks may be entitled to discounted rates.

- If a group has their own qualified instructor(s) (Single Pitch Award minimum) they must have their own insurance. We must have a copy of the insurance details (this should be Public Liability cover) and their climbing qualification.
- We need details of a contact name and number so we can confirm details.
- Groups will need to send in payment in advance.
- The SICW is fully insured under the Birkenhead School Public Liability Cover.
