- The year began with a service for Years 7 – 13 at St Saviour’s Church.
The preacher was the Right Reverend Peter Forster, Bishop of Chester and
School Visitor.
- The Right Reverend Alan Chesters, former Bishop of Blackburn, confirmed
Edward Thomas, James Kealey, Charles Jones, Marco Galvani, James Boumphrey
and Mrs Jill Galvani at the end of the Lent Term.
- Worship at Sunday Evensong was led by the Chaplain, Canon Ian Davenport,
and the Rev’d Neill Robb, Vicar of Neston. The annual Old Birkonian Service
took place on Sunday 2nd September and marked the Centenary of the Old
Birkonian Society. Thanks were given for the extensive refurbishment of the
Chapel which was generously paid for by the Society
