- The chess club met every Thursday lunchtime throughout the academic year. Johnson Ta, Will Robinson, Johnathan Williams, Andrew Hoyland, Sparsh Garg, Shaun Wilbraham, Ben Berkson, Joshua Jones and Jonathan Atkinson represented the School at the Cheshire and North Wales ‘Chess Megafinal’ which took place in Warrington in May. Andrew Hoyland and Will Robinson qualified for the North of England ‘Chess Gigafinal’ which takes place in July
