- By the end of the domestic season the 1st XI had won all 12matches (2
matches were cancelled)
- Individually, the stand- out performers to the end of June were:
• David Hurst with 525 runs and 13 wickets, including 121 against King’s
Chester , 98 not out versus Cheadle, 150 against Merchant Taylors’ School
and 136 against Foyle and Londonderry.
• Andrew Clarke with 408 runs and 17 wickets, including 98 not out against
King’s Chester, as well as 6 wickets for 14 runs, including a hat-trick, in
the Foyle and Londonderry game.
• Nick Lytollis with 308 runs and 15 wickets, including 78 versus Manchester
Grammar and 6 wickets for 38 against King’s Chester.
• Lewis Robinson has taken 14 wickets, scored 71 not out against Newcastle
and took 6 wickets for 22 against Ellesmere.
• David Manchett has scored 166 runs, including 80 against Cheadle, and has
taken 17 wickets.
• Andrew Murphy has scored 355 runs , including 98 not out against the MCC
and 3 further scores of 40+
- By the end of June the U13 and U15 teams had reached the semi-finals of
the Cheshire Cup.
The Under 12’s best performance was again Manchester Grammar School , a
victory in which Alex Saverimutto scored 48 not out. The U15’s won all but
one of their matches.
