- The Michaelmas Term started with the Overdale play ‘James and the
Giant Peach’. Lent term saw the School’s first involvement in the
Shakespeare Schools Festival with a production of ‘Macbeth’ at L.I.P.A. This
was followed by a performance in School for Years 8, 9 and 10 and a workshop
for Year 9. The Sixth Form was involved in ‘Butley’ and Adam Wells, a Sixth
Form pupil, directed other Sixth Formers in ‘A Lion in Winter’
- The annual House Drama Competition, again involved many pupils from Year
7 to the Sixth Form. The Headmaster, who was this year’s adjudicator,
awarded first place to Kingsmead House whose play was produced by Sean
Ferguson and Ben Davies
- Senior Full Colours for Drama were awarded to Stephen Hughes, Adam Wells
and Michael Wright.
Senior Half Colours were awarded to James Davies, Sean Ferguson, Elliot
Pizer, Michael Russell and Matthew Norval
Junior Half Colours were awarded to Joshua Beaumont, Rory Anderson, Philip
Eakins, Thomas Larner, and Harry Machray
