- Teams run for the following age groups: U13, U14, U15, U16, 2nd Xl and
1st Xl. Each team played regular fixtures throughout the first two terms.
- Competitions Entered: County, Regional, National U13, 14, 16, & 18 Cup
competitions.
Regional U16, and U18 indoor competitions.
Euro Hockey Nations promotional U15 Cup Competition.
- Hockey Cup Success: The U15 team has recently been crowned Merseyside
Champions in the Euro-Hockey Nations promotional tournament at Belle Vue,
losing narrowly to Altrincham Grammar School in the final.
The U16 team won the Cheshire Cup, the Northwest Trophy, and were North of
England runners up
The 1st XI reached the National Finals of the English Schools Hockey
Competition having won the Cheshire Cup, Northwest Trophy, and North of
England Trophy en route.
- Tours: During the summer break in 2006 the senior hockey squad enjoyed a
successful tour of South Africa. The squad played 10 matches, winning 4,
losing 4 and drawing 2. The tour included several days of hockey and sight
seeing in Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth.
At Easter the Senior Hockey squad also enjoyed a weekend tour to the King
Edwards School Hockey Festival in Bath, winning 2 of their 4 matches.
