- Martin Ince gained his Explorer Belt and is currently working towards
the Queen Scout Award. He also took part in a 14 day self-sufficient
expedition to Canada.
- Tom Bowhay coaches Swimming to youngsters twice a week.
- Tom Walker gained his Tai Kwan Do Red Belt.
- Lloyd Ball runs his own photography company, selling pictures on line.
He also runs a web design company.
- Elliot Pizer is a member of the Stuffed Onion Drama Company.
- Rory Anderson hosts a Friday evening show on Arrowe Park Hospital radio.
He is also an active member of the Wirral Blind Speaking Newspaper.
- Ammar Ahmed gained his Karate Yellow Belt.
- Cameron Donaldson is a member of the National Young Drama Society.
- Nathan Demetrios gained his Judo Black Belt.

- Ben Robinson was selected to represent Great Britain in an Optimist
event in Naples and he came 13th (top British Boat) out of 150 entrants. He
is competing in the World Championships in Sardinia this summer.
- Alex Watkins plays for New Brighton Chess Club and is Wirral’s Junior
Chess Champion.
- Matthew Smith has obtained his black belt in Tai Kwan Do.
- Julian Smith has been awarded the RLSS Award of Merit for life-saving.
- Michael Small plays Principal Oboe in the Liverpool Philharmonic Youth
Orchestra.
- Josh Sims played in the England Schoolboys’ Golf Team against Scotland.
- Joe Williams is in the GB sailing team and has been selected for the
World Championships.
- Tom Boys came 5th in an England U15 golf competition.
- Jonathan Burgess is a crew member of West Kirby life-boat.
- Joshua Beaumont took part in a charity drama performance at the
Shaftesbury Theatre, London.
- Fred Williams has sailed for the Midlands team.
- Jeremy Williams has recently become a member of the National Children’s
Wind Orchestra.

- Ashley Davies played cricket for Cheshire.
- Rufus Foster has been playing drums in charity gigs to raise money for
his trip to Uganda this summer to help build a school for orphans.
- James Woolacott is a member of the First Adult Team at Merrals Dance
Academy and has competed in the National Championships
- Dominic Barnes has been nominated Junior Golfer of the Year at Calday
Golf Club.
- Andrew Clarke has been awarded the Cheshire Cricket U15 Best Bowler of
the Year Award for the second consecutive year.
- Tim Denton gained his Brown Belt in Kick-boxing.
- Matthew Hadikin was named Top Scorer in the Wallasey Football League.
- James Hyde was named Most Improved Boxer at Wallasey A.B.C.
- Lawrence Lynch gained the Unilever Award for Outstanding Achievement.
- Harry Machray is a member of both the Playhouse and Everyman Theatre. He
played “Bert” in “All My Sons” and appeared in “Much Ado About Nothing” at
the Playhouse Theatre.
