- Theatre production facilities have been enhanced by the purchase of a
Marantz PMD portable digital recorder and AT850 single-point stereo
microphone. This allows easy recording, transfer and manipulation of
voiceovers and sound effects.The AS group offered a minimal study of
obsession for their group practical inspired by the use of interwoven
monologue.
- Theatre visits included the spectacular “Pool: No Water” by Mark
Ravenhill, at the Liverpool Everyman, a contemporary parable about envy,
fame, drugs and betrayal. The RNT touring production of “The Caucasian Chalk
Circle”, also at the Everyman, was a visibly Brechtian production. The
Contact Theatre in Manchester presented Forced Entertainment’s “The World in
Pictures”. The Arden School of Theatre staged a student production of “Yerma”.
- Adam Wells directed his own production of ‘The Lion in Winter’ in March,
and is currently casting for “Antigone”.
