The bus, which has been going for a great many years, is run by parents and operates on a non-profit making basis. The fee, set each term, is calculated on the length of the term and the number of children on the bus. A detailed route plan is given below.

The bus may be joined at any stage of the term - the fee would be calculated accordingly.
Route and pick up/drop off points
The first stop is by the Woodcote Hotel.
It then stops outside the Hooton Inn.*
The third
stop is on the corner of Eastham Rake/Brookhurst Avenue, by Scafell Close
The
next stop is just before the junction of Brookhurst Avenue with Brookhurst Road.
The next stop is the bus stop
opposite the Church by the Common in Allport Lane
The next stop is just before the T junction at the end
of Croft Avenue.
There
are three stops on Spital Road – at Oakridge Road, Heronpark Way and Jocelyn Close
Next stop is Church Road, next to the Church on the corner of Highcroft Avenue.
Civic Way, outside the Town Hall.
Heath
Road, outside Wirral Grammar School.
Between Kennet Road and Waterfield Close.
Broadway
Junction of Mount Road and Gayton Avenue**
The last stop is almost opposite Mendip Road.
The Route Home
The bus picks up the girls first, outside the church on Alton Road. It leaves there by 1550. It picks up the boys outside the tennis court, in front of the staff car park exit on Bidston Road, leaving there at 1600.
* The bus drops outside Hooton Station on the way home.
** On the way home the bus takes a different route. Instead of turning left onto
Thornton Road at the mini roundabouts, it continues and turns left down
Broadway, re-joining the morning route at the roundabout at the bottom of the
hill.
*** The bus turns down Plymyard Avenue, and not Brookhurst Avenue, stopping
opposite the retirement homes, near Bettisfield Avenue, and opposite Rothesay
Drive.
