The
religions studied are: Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism and Judaism.
Students are not expected to have any background knowledge in or to practise any
religion.There are two main aims in R.E:
- To learn about religions (What do people from different faith groups do? Why do they do this?)
- To learn from religions (How do we each feel about any issues raised? Do we agree with the ideas of the faith groups?)
