Gliding Scholarships for RAF Cadets
Sgt Euan Morris and Cpl James Wollacott are the latest RAF Cadets from Birkenhead School CCF RAF Section to be awarded Gliding Scholarships. They will attend a residential gliding training course over the Easter holidays, and, if successful, will return to School proudly sporting a set of Gliding Wings on their uniform.
Gliding is a thrilling activity, but instruction can be expensive. These two lucky fliers will receive their board, lodging, travel and instruction completely free of charge, thanks to the RAF Gliding Scholarship programme.
