The grammar points in the following linked document are prescribed in the
AS and A2 Specifications. For structures marked (R), receptive knowledge only is required. If your Spanish teacher highlights errors in a particular grammar point, you are advised to use your Acción Gramática text book and the links suggested here to improve your understanding.
Typing Spanish characters (accents, etc.)
If you need to type foreign language characters (ñ, é, í, etc), you can find out how to do it below. Why not print a copy and keep it near your computer? As well as using the keystrokes below to enter characters, you can also use the Insert Symbol feature in most Microsoft Office programs.
Using Character Codes
- Ensure Num Lock is on
- Press and hold down Alt
- Type the four digit code for the required character (see below)
