Mrs Philippa Glover, the Managing Director of CNC Robotics, a robotics company based in Aintree, Liverpool visited Birkenhead School to present a lecture on robotics.

Mrs Glover started the lecture by highlighting the emergence of robotics and its increasing relevance and now demand in society. She highlighted to the Sixth Formers the several useful and effective operations the robots can carry out and also informed the Sixth Formers of her journey that saw her undertake a Chemistry degree and spend several years in the Pharmaceutical industry.
Mrs Glover also invited the students to ask insightful questions on what it was like to be the managing director of a company with a general theme in the lecture seeing Mrs Glover stress the need for a great attitude and work ethic above all else.
