Sports results for Prep and Seniors for week ending 13th November.

Highlights

• Girls U14 and XII Netball teams progress to the Regional North West Finals after coming first and second in the Merseyside round of the National Finals on Saturday.
• Five Prep pupils have been selected for the Wirral Schools Cross Country team to compete in regional races in the coming weeks

Prep

Wirral Schools Cross-Country Selection
Congratulations to Year 6 pupils Georgia, Arabella, Nathaniel and Leonardo, along with Year 5 pupil, Ethan, who have been selected for the Wirral Schools Cross-Country team to compete in regional races in the coming weeks.



Year 4s against King's Chester
Football: A team won 4 - 0, B team lost 3 - 0 but it was a lot closer than score suggests and C team lost.



Netball: A team drew, B and C teams won



U11 Football team v Townfield Primary in Houlihan Cup 
Convincing 17 -  0 victory.

TRFC 6-aside Tournament
U11 Football team competed in the Finals afternoon of the TRFC 6 aside tournament. In a tough group against the best school teams on the Wirral, Birkenhead won 2, drew 1 and lost 2 and unfortunately did not qualify for the semi finals. A draw against eventual winners, St George's was highlight of afternoon.

Year 5s against King's Chester
Football: A team lost, B team came from 2 - 0 down to win 3 - 2 and C team lost very narrowly 4 - 3 in a game that could have gone either way.
Netball: Two convincing victories, A team winning 14 - 0 and B team winning 12 - 2.

Year 6 Football and Netball trip to Blackpool
Two convincing victories in Football and Netball at Ashbridge School in Preston on way up to Blackpool followed by an entertaining evening out on Blackpool promenade enjoying the illuminations and fair on the central pier, even if a little windy.
