Score Orienteering competition at Bramhall Park organised by Manchester District Orienteering Club.

19 students from the Birkenhead School orienteering team took part in this competition on Saturday. Competitors were given 45 minutes to visit as many controls as they could.  Each checkpoint visited scores 10 points but 5 points are lost for every minute, or part minute, late.  All students scored a minimum of 150 points which is a great achievement as for many this was their first attempt at a score event.

Most notable performance was by Han Khoo, who scored a fantastic 330 points and came 10th in the overall competition (4th in his age group).  Angelica Noorpuri and Olivia Parfect came 20th
