Trips & Visits

To enhance the learning inside the classroom, sixth form students are offered a range of trips and visits throughout the year to support and enhance the learning undertaken in the classroom; as well as truly inspire and develop our students into responsible young adults.

Below are some examples of where Sixth Form students have had the opportunity to visit:

Sixth Form students formed part of a group from Birkenhead School which went on an educational visit to Florida. There was a 'Business Masters' group and a 'Forensics' group. The trip included visits to NASA's Kennedy Space Centre, 'Wonderworks' and Universal Studios. There was also a chance to meet TV Meteorologist Amy Sweezey.

A group of sixth form students had the opportunity to travel to Nepal in conjunction with the charity, So the Child May Learn.  The group were able to see how their fundraising helped contribute towards the building of six new classrooms at a Nepalese school.
