Life in the Sixth Form is designed to allow students greater freedom so that they develop greater levels of independence, autonomy, and have opportunities to seize the wide range of opportunities available.
An education should be about more than exam preparation; it’s also about developing students into conscientious and responsible young adults, ready to make an impact in life. As well as the structured timetable there is time to take on positions of responsibility such as peer mentoring; academic mentoring; and leadership roles within the School community.
At the School, we value emotional and social development as much as academic and intellectual development. Students take full and active roles within Music, Sports and Drama and every Wednesday afternoon are able to participate in a broad and varied Sports programme.
