It was a pleasure to welcome Thea Green MBE, founder...
We were delighted to welcome Thea Green MBE, founder of Nails Inc, to Birkenhead School as part of our Nicholls Lecture Series.
From her journey growing up on the Wirral to building a globally recognised beauty brand, Thea shared powerful insights on resilience, innovation and entrepreneurship with our Sixth Form students.
Thea is the latest speaker in our weekly Nicholls Lecture Series which has seen a range of speakers visit the school to deliver talks to our Sixth Form on a range of diverse topics. Recent speakers have included Claire Fuller, National Medical Director at NHS England and Dr Stephen Finnegan, Associate Professor of Sustainable Design in the School of Architecture, University of Liverpool and Ms Sarah Bell, partner, at International Law Firm, DLA Piper.

After a busy and competitive season, our U18 girls finished their campaign at the Cheshire County Finals last week. Facing some of the strongest school teams in the county, the girls showed great determination, teamwork and resilience throughout the afternoon. Against tough opposition, their effort and commitment never wavered, and they represented the school with real pride right to the final whistle.
A special mention goes to our Upper Sixth players, who pulled on the school shirt for the final time. Thank you for your leadership, commitment and the example you have set for the younger players over the years. We wish you all the very best for the future, you will be greatly missed in the hockey programme.
