Children learn and develop rapidly from the moment they are born and research confirms that the experiences that a child has in the early years has a significant impact on their future life chances. Our Early Years setting is made up of our Nursery (from 2 years) and Pre-Prep (from 3 years). Nursery and Pre Prep are vibrant hubs where curiosity meets creativity and through our curriculum, our experienced educators spark curiosity and ignite a life-long love of learning in out littlest learners as they embark upon their Birkenhead School journey.

The EYFS provides a framework that sets the standards that all early years providers must meet to ensure that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe. It is an important stage as it helps get your child ready for school as well as preparing them for their future learning and successes.
