An Extensive Co-Curricular Programme

At Birkenhead School, we provide a holistic education that distinguishes our students. Our extensive Co-Curricular programme in the Sixth Form encourages each student to discover and develop their unique interests, whether in music, sports, drama, or other areas. We believe that every student should have the opportunity to find their niche, and we actively nurture and encourage talents across these disciplines. Our students have excelled, representing the School in local, regional, and even national arenas, showcasing the exceptional breadth and depth of opportunities available at Birkenhead School.

Beyond the Curriculum

Beyond the Curriculum

Beyond the Curriculum is designed, as the name suggests, to offer students an opportunity to explore areas of interest outside their A Level subjects. Alongside a core Futures course in critical thinking, research, presentation and interview skills, students are able to choose from a range of options such as the Gold Crest Award in Science, Sports Coaching and Leadership, Creative Writing & Reading for Inspiration and Ceramics, to name but a few.
