School Productions
In the Sixth Form, students can immerse themselves in the vibrant world of drama at Birkenhead School. They have the opportunity to study Theatre Studies at A Level and participate in a range of drama productions throughout the year. From performing lead roles on stage to contributing behind the scenes with lighting, sound, or as part of the backstage crew, there is a role for everyone who wishes to get involved.
As they advance, Sixth Form students often take on leadership roles in School productions, gaining experience in directing, writing, and producing. They also lead the annual House Drama productions, collaborating with younger Senior pupils. This hands-on experience allows them to develop both their artistic talents and their leadership skills in a creative, collaborative environment.
In recent years, productions have included Joseph, Oliver!, Chicago, Scuttlers, Little Shop of Horrors and Treasure Island.
