Pre-Prep area is busy and active with lots going on to engage, entertain and develop children. We work hard to provide enabling environments that stimulate, excite and intrigue the children so that they are curious to see and do more. All these experiences help to shape their individual development and build the foundations for future success, wellbeing and lifelong learning. In Early Years children learn through play. Children can become deeply involved in place, taking things they already know and combining them in new ways to increase their understanding and build on existing learning. Children take part in a wide range of activities including Yoga, Dance, Mystery Readers, participation in the Prep’s annual Sports Day, as well as Christmas and Summer performances. Children make friendships with their peers and across different year groups and a highlight of each week is when Year 6 ‘Reading Buddies’ read with our younger children in the Pre-Prep.
Earlier this week the children in Little School (Reception to Year 2), welcomed children’s author, and self-proclaimed “Chocolate Monster”, Donna David, to the School to hear all about her new book, Planes, Planes, Planes!.
