The School operates a number of bus services to the School which use School minibuses and School drivers.
The map below provides an indication of the current bus routes in operation. Routes are updated according to demand and are managed by Vectare.

From September 2025, we will be operating a Chester Express Bus Service, picking up from Chester Rugby Club. For more information, please contact Mrs Sue Davies at enquire@birkenheadschool.co.uk.
In addition to the above there are a number of public school bus services that operate across Wirral and Chester and provide easy travel options to and from Birkenhead School.
