Our Whole School Open Day is a fantastic opportunity for prospective families to explore Birkenhead School—from Early Years through to Sixth Form.
Headmaster’s Welcome: Gain insight into life at Birkenhead School with a talk from our Headmaster and hear directly from our students as they share their experiences.
Personalised Tours: Our admissions team will be on hand, along with our prefects, who will guide you on a tailored tour of the school. You’ll have the chance to:
-Visit subjects of interest and speak to our passionate teachers
-Explore our facilities across all age groups
-Ask questions about admissions, scholarships, and bursaries
Enjoy light refreshments while soaking in the relaxed and welcoming environment. Families can listen to live student performances, watch sport on the fields, and truly get a feel for life at Birkenhead School.

No parent with a child of suitable ability who would benefit from an education at Birkenhead School should be dissuaded from applying for a place on grounds of costs.
Bursaries are awarded to help students take up or retain a place at the School where their parents or guardian cannot pay full fees. All Bursaries are means-tested and may cover up to 100% of the full fee. It is unusual for very young children to be awarded Bursaries as assessment of their potential has to be established before a bursary can be considered.
