At Birkenhead School, our Early Years provision spans Nursery (from age 2) and Pre-Prep (from age 3). These vibrant and nurturing environments are where curiosity is encouraged, creativity is celebrated, and the foundations for a lifelong love of learning are laid.

Through our thoughtfully designed curriculum and the care of our experienced educators, each child is supported as they begin their exciting educational journey with us — developing confidence, independence, and a joy for discovery along the way.

The EYFS provides a framework that sets the standards that all early years providers must meet to ensure that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe. It is an important stage as it helps get your child ready for school as well as preparing them for their future learning and successes.
