GCSE Results 2026
Birkenhead School is celebrating another excellent set of GCSE results,...
🎶 Small voices. A wonderful sound.🎶
Our Prep children came together in song for Harvest Festival — sharing the joy of music and a moment to reflect and give thanks.
“There is something a little bit magical about Birkenhead Prep.”
— The Good Schools Guide, 2026
Sometimes, that magic is in the things we do together. Through singing, children practise listening, express themselves and build the confidence to let their voices be heard.
That’s why music is such a valued part of our curriculum — helping children discover their talents, grow in confidence and feel they belong.

After a busy and competitive season, our U18 girls finished their campaign at the Cheshire County Finals last week. Facing some of the strongest school teams in the county, the girls showed great determination, teamwork and resilience throughout the afternoon. Against tough opposition, their effort and commitment never wavered, and they represented the school with real pride right to the final whistle.
A special mention goes to our Upper Sixth players, who pulled on the school shirt for the final time. Thank you for your leadership, commitment and the example you have set for the younger players over the years. We wish you all the very best for the future, you will be greatly missed in the hockey programme.
